COPS: ON PATROL Mobile Game Launches Today
New York, NY, July 7, 2016 – Based on the long-running iconic television series, “COPS,” 345 Games has partnered with Behaviour Interactive to create a new, action-packed arcade-style mobile driving game – COPS: ON PATROL. Launching on mobile and tablet iOS and Android devices, COPS: ON PATROL lets the player keep their city safe from crime by responding to dispatch calls and racing around town to stop criminals.
Packed with vibrant visual effects featuring an array of different official and undercover police vehicles, exciting power-ups such as pit maneuver and helicopter, and detailed city maps, COPS: ON PATROL will put players behind the wheel of a ride they will never forget. By completing missions successfully and apprehending law-breakers, players will be able reduce crime and make their city safer. Bonus points will be given to players who discover time-saving shortcuts to arrest the bad guys or to those who nab the most notorious criminals.
“For over a quarter century, we marveled at the dedicated brave men and women in law enforcement featured on COPS,” said Dan Yang, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Products, Viacom Media Networks. “Now millions of fans have the chance to emulate their heroes in our new high-octane driving game.”
“We really think the world of COPS is perfect to explore as a video game, on so many levels,” said Morgan Langley, Executive Producer for COPS. “With Spike, new generations of viewers are discovering the show all the time, and now COPS fans will be able to keep the action going 24-7 with COPS: ON PATROL on their phones and iPads. We wanted COPS: ON PATROL to live up to the sheer excitement and unpredictability of a great episode of COPS, and fans will definitely get experience that with this awesome new game.”
“It’s very gratifying to take cops to another level, celebrating the fact that law enforcement has many faces and many beats,” added John Langley.
“We are very honored to be a part of this next chapter in the COPS franchise” said Wayne Meazza, Executive Vice President, Behaviour Studios. “We have been fans of the series for years and we are very excited to be able to create the first official COPS experience for mobile devices”
