Behaviour retains designation as one of Montreal’s Top Employers

Greater flexibility to work where you want, when you want now a permanent policy

Behaviour Interactive, Canada’s largest independent video game studio, welcomes its redesignation as one of Montreal’s Top Employers.

This is the second consecutive year that Behaviour has received the designation, which is awarded annually through a competition run by MediaCorp Inc. The competition recognizes businesses in Greater Montreal that provide an exceptional work environment. Winners are selected based on criteria such as work atmosphere, benefits, vacation and time off, performance management and community involvement.

World-class working conditions

Proudly based in Montreal’s Mile-Ex neighbourhood, Behaviour Interactive employs a workforce of more than 700 employees. The company takes great pride in offering a world-class work environment that emphasizes work-life balance, including:

  • A new, permanent policy that provides greater freedom to determine when and where employees get their work done.
  • Generous perks and benefits, including comprehensive health coverage for all employees from day one and an optional Group RRSP program.
  • Ample time off and a flexible reimbursement program for eligible expenses.

“We are especially proud that we’ve been able to retain our designation as one of Montreal’s Top Employers despite the historic challenges of 2020,” said Rémi Racine, CEO and Executive Producer of Behaviour Interactive. “We are constantly looking at ways to better ourselves and the lives of our growing workforce and to further solidify our reputation as a world-class employer. It’s a creative challenge that we truly enjoy and this is welcome recognition for those efforts.”

“The past year has been challenging emotionally, physically, and mentally,” says Kristina Leung, Senior Editor at MediaCorp. “But organizations worked quickly and tirelessly to provide crucial support to employees to alleviate pressing concerns as well as working to contribute to a larger, communal effort for Canada’s pandemic response.”
