Behaviour Interactive named one of Montreal’s Top Employers

January 30, 2020 – Behaviour Interactive’s selection as a winner in the 2020 Montréal’s Top Employers competition is a welcome addition to the independent video game studio’s growing list of achievements.

The competition is held each year by Mediacorp Canada, organizers of the Canada’s Top 100 Employers project, and recognizes businesses in Greater Montreal that provide exceptional work environments. Winners are selected based on criteria such as work atmosphere, benefits, vacation and time off, performance management and community involvement.

Being named one of Montreal’s Top Employers comes on the heels of Behaviour’s recognition as one of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 and Enterprise Fast 15 programs in 2019.

Located in Montreal’s Mile-Ex neighbourhood, Behaviour Interactive now has more than 600 employees and is proud to offer a workplace that emphasizes work-life balance through cornerstone policies such as personal days, a generous vacation allowance and an incentive program for physical activities, among other benefits.

“Being selected one of Montreal’s top employers is a great honour given the world-leading companies that call this city home,” said Rémi Racine, CEO and Executive Producer of Behaviour Interactive. “Providing a best-in-class work environment for our employees is fundamental to Behaviour and we welcome this acknowledgement of our team’s efforts to build a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.”

“There’s a renaissance taking place in Montreal right now,” said Anthony Meehan, Publisher at Mediacorp. “The city has long had a unique blend of history, culture and the cosmopolitan that made it an attractive place to live for people from around the world. But today, it also offers one of the strongest economies of any city in Canada and is home to world-class employers in a wide range of sectors, from finance and technology to universities and healthcare.”
