Behaviour Interactive named one of Canada’s Best Places To Work by GamesIndustry.biz
Behaviour receives Education Award for its commitment to training and community
Montreal – November 8, 2021 – Behaviour Interactive, Canada’s largest independent video game studio, today welcomed its selection as one of Canada’s Best Places To Work by GamesIndustry.biz.
The GamesIndustry.biz Best Places To Work Awards are the only workplace recognition program to celebrate employer excellence specifically for the video games industry, and this is the first year that the UK-based program has dedicated an award for Canadian studios.
“Behaviour is thrilled to be among the first studios to be recognized as one of Canada’s Best Places To Work by GamesIndustry.biz,” said Rémi Racine, Behaviour’s CEO and Executive Producer. “We take great pride in offering our employees a world-class work environment that emphasizes work-life balance and provides everyone with opportunities to better themselves and advance in their careers.”
Winning studios were selected on the results of an employer survey and an employee survey that Gamesindustry.biz developed in collaboration with HR consultants and experts. The surveys considered a range of factors such as salaries, time off, employee diversity, and training, development, and education.
Behaviour emerged with a score of 88% and won the Education Award, which is granted for outstanding support for the next generation of talent via internships, assistance for local schools, and internal development and training programs, among other education initiatives.
“Education is a top priority here at Behaviour, from our comprehensive internship program to our community involvement and our team’s passion for supporting the next generation of game developers,” said Kalina Morin, Behaviour’s VP Human Resources. “The Best Places To Work Education Award is a wonderful acknowledgement of our commitment to education and recognizes the hard work of so many here at Behaviour.”
