Giving is an all-season affair at Behaviour
Behaviour understands that an important part of being a good corporate citizen is giving back to the communities we call home. This is a commitment that Behaviour and its team practice in several ways, from corporate donations and mentoring initiatives to our efforts to reduce food and e-waste.
At the corporate level, Behaviour commits a percentage of its annual revenue to charitable causes in the communities where we’re based, an amount that totaled $800,000 in 2024. This money funds work in areas including education, health, sustainability, diversity and the fight against social exclusion and poverty.
Creating opportunities for our team to get involved and give back is another critical aspect of our community focus. The main event on this front is BeGenerous, our annual internal fundraising campaign for local charities. Each year, our team goes above and beyond and BeGenerous 2024 was no exception, raising an incredible $151,000 in individual donations and pledges for the United Way, Perspectives Jeunesse, and other non-profit organizations in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
This commitment to community earned Behaviour a place on the Great Place to Work Institute’s 2024 list of Canada’s Best Workplaces for Giving Back, an honour that is based primarily on the results of an independent survey of our team conducted by the Institute last year.
“From Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver to Middlesbrough and Rotterdam, Behaviour benefits so much from the communities we call home and it’s a privilege to be able to give back and help them thrive,” says Rémi Racine, CEO of Behaviour.
