Gamesindustry.biz names Behaviour one of Canada’s Best Places to Work for third consecutive year
Every award that Behaviour wins is important, but Gamesindustry.biz’s Best Places to Work holds an admittedly special place and we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected for the third year in a row!
Behaviour’s selection this year is made more impressive by the fact 49 Canadian studios applied to this year’s competition.
Best Places to Work are determined primarily by an employee survey that asks 50 questions on topics including working environment, work/life balance, management, diversity and more. Th employee survey is responsible for 80% of a studio’s overall score.
A second survey queries employers on perks and benefits, professional development, and employee wellness programs, among other subjects, and Gamesindustry.biz conducts its own research.
“Being named one of Canada’s Best Places to Work by Gamesindustry.biz is a big win for Behaviour and a welcome affirmation that our efforts to provide a world-class work environment are seen and felt by our team,” said Rémi Racine, Co-Founder, CEO and Executive Producer of Behaviour Interactive. “This award provides important recognition across the video game industry of Behaviour’s cornerstone commitments to work/life balance, innovation, professional development, and providing a workplace where everybody counts.”
Gamesindustry.biz’s recognition of Behaviour as one of Canada’s Best Places to Work follows on the heels of the studio’s recent recertification as a Great Place to Work by the Great Place to Work Institute, a world authority on winning workplace cultures. Over the past 12 months, the Institute has named Behaviour one of Canada’s Best Workplaces and one of the Best Workplaces in the province of Quebec and listed it as a Best Workplace for Women, for Giving Back, for Today’s Youth and for Trust in the Executive Team.
