Behaviour is big-time Proud!
Pride Month is a time to celebrate the stories of two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and additional sexually and gender diverse (2SLGBTQI+) people and highlight their contributions and efforts to making the world better, more diverse, and welcoming.
Here at Behaviour, we made the most of Pride Month to salute colleagues and players from the 2SLGBTQI+ communities, all with the guidance of an advisory committee consisting of colleagues from these communities and our Corporate Communications and People & Culture teams. The committee’s purpose is to develop a Pride Month program that reflects and respects the needs and interests of 2SLGBTQI+ people.
Supporting Project 10
Behaviour marked Pride Month by donating to Project 10, as we have since 2021. This Montreal non-profit organization works to empower 2SLGBTQI+ youth through support programs, group meetings, art, and focused activities for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour (BIPOC) youth. Check out their website to learn more about Project 10’s important work.
Into the Rainbow
The Dead by Daylight Team kicked off Pride Month with the annual Into the Rainbow Charity Stream on June 1. Hosted by Trixie Mattel and Negaoryx, the stream and its ongoing fundraising campaign has raised over $20,000 for the It Gets Better Project, a global non-profit that provides media programming, educational resources, and access to service providers for young 2SLGBTQI+ people. Dead by Daylight also celebrated Pride with a rollicking June 16 Drag Queen Takeover by Fog Whisperers @Evidious515 @Deere @Dragtrashly @Elix and @Eevoh and the smooth moves of a 2SLGBTQI+ Fog Whisperer crew playing Chapter 28: End Transmission on the game’s Steam page between June 13 and 20.

Conference
Our Learning & Development Team organized a workshop led by Estelle Cazelais, a sexologist and member of the association Les 3 sex*, that aimed to demystify the acronym 2SLGBTQI+ and encourage the development of a common vocabulary around sexual identity and gender identities.
Pride Happy Hour
Pride Month is a time to both educate and celebrate, and we did plenty of the latter at Pride-themed happy hours June 29 at our offices in Montreal, Toronto and Seattle and lunch that same day at Behaviour UK-North. Everyone had the opportunity to get their Pride on with food, décor, music, and activities designed to mark the occasion in style! In Montreal, we got our Pride on with games, rainbow cake, and all kinds of tattoos. Toronto had cookies and pizza from restaurants owned by members of the 2SLGBTQI+ communities while grooving to guest DJ Sofia Fly. Seattle enjoyed cupcakes from a local 2SLGBTQI+ baker and our UK-North team had pizza and Pride-themed cupcakes while watching the GDC talk “Playing with Pride.” If that’s not proud, we don’t know what is!
Pride, of course, is not limited to one month, but is a commitment that Behaviour supports year-round. The time is always right to be an ally and support the 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
