Dead by Daylight is looking for a Product Director to lead a renewed vision for how players connect with the game. You’ll drive the strategy behind player retention and live engagement systems — from matchmaking and onboarding to overall quality of life.

Your leadership will bring clarity, innovation, and long-term impact to our engagement strategy, helping define the next chapter of DbD’s evolution.
In this role you will :

  • Shape the why behind our engagement features; understand the motivations that re-engage former players, inspire current ones to play more often, and foster lasting commitment to the game.
  • Shape the future of asymmetry; understand and address the core differences in our audiences and develop systems that serve both.
  • Collaborate and build strong partnerships across creative, technical and production; your ability to influence will be crucial to better align the roadmap and priorities.
  • Lead and grow a team; manage a small team of Product managers & Live Ops specialists and build a high-performing engagement function.
  • Track KPIs & P&L; partner with Data Insight and Marketing to forecast, measure, and optimize player engagement.
  • Be the voice of the player; Combine market insight, player data, and community feedback to define, validate, and evolve engagement features that drive retention and player satisfaction.
What we're looking for :
  • 8+ years in a Product Management related field, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the video game industry on a Live game, ideally on PC/Console.
  • Proven experience creating a long term strategic engagement deliverables including defining objectives, key components, and audience-tailored messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience with engagement systems: Battle Passes, seasonal events, progression loops, retention mechanics, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of Design and Technical challenges and need on a Live product.
  • Strong market knowledge of live service and engagement trends: able to translate insights into innovative, relevant feature strategies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
