We’re looking for a Release Manager to join the 7 Days to Die team and help ensure every update, content release, and launch reaches players smoothly and successfully.
As Release Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our release operations, coordinating submissions and certification across platforms and keeping teams aligned from planning through launch. Working closely with Production, Marketing, Brand, Live Operations, and our external first-party partners, you’ll anticipate risks, navigate platform requirements, and help build reliable release processes for a game that continues to evolve.
In this role you will :
- Configure products hands-on in first-party portals, including builds, store images, descriptions, and metadata for game updates, DLCs, and other content releases.
- Working in close collaboration with the production team to coordinate submission and certification across multiple platforms, making sure platform requirements and deadlines are met.
- Maintain release documentation and tracking for platform-specific deliverables, giving teams clear visibility throughout the release cycle.
- Act as a key point of contact with first-party partners on submission and certification topics, helping teams navigate requirements and resolve issues.
- Oversee platform-specific deliverables, submission requirements, and release documentation, maintaining clear visibility throughout the release cycle.
- Collaborate with Production, Marketing, Brand, and Live Operations to support content launches, pricing, regional availability, and launch activities.
- Help define, document, and continuously improve release management processes and best practices
What we're looking for :
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management, Production, Project Coordination, Live Operations, or a related role within the video game or software industry.
- Experience supporting game, software, DLC, or content releases through structured delivery and certification processes; experience shipping a game is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of first-party platforms and submission tools such as Steamworks, Microsoft Partner Center, PlayStation Content Pipeline/DevNet/FQAWeb, Nintendo portals, or Epic Online Services.
- Experience with collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Miro, and Microsoft 365.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners.
