Talent Acquisition Process

When you send us your resumé, our talent acquisition specialists are already at work. The process spans over five steps:

1. ANALYSIS AND SELECTION OF CANDIDATES

Our recruitment specialists select the best candidates, conduct phone interviews and schedule on-site interviews.

2. INTERVIEWS

There may be up to 3 interviews depending on the position and the project’s requirements. The candidates may also be asked to write a technical test. All the details will be shared by the recruitment specialists. They will also ensure the administrative aspects are covered such as salary expectations, availability date, references, etc.

3. FINAL SELECTION

At this stage, recruitment narrows it down to 2 or 3 candidates and communicates quickly with those who were not selected.

4. OFFER

It is our recruiters’ favourite step.

5. ONBOARDING

Once the offer is accepted, the orientation process gets underway to ensure successful integration of the new employee.

Foreign Candidates

We are constantly looking for new talent around the world and our Human Resources team has extensive experience in managing expatriate candidates. Here is the usual approach for the recruitment of a foreign candidate:

1. FIRST INTERVIEW

Our recruiters contact the candidate for a phone interview or video conference call

2. SECOND INTERVIEW

Our relocation partners plan a phone call with the candidate to plan a visit to Montreal, if necessary. They answer questions regarding the housing market, the cost of living in Montreal, taxation, the neighbourhood, the schools, etc.

3. OFFER AND IMMIGRATION

The Human Resources and Legal teams request the work visa and send the new employee a list of required documents. The visa usually takes 2 to 3 months to be issued.

4. ONBOARDING

The orientation process gets underway to ensure successful integration of the new employee.
