The Role

As a Technical AnimatorTeam Lead on Dead by Daylight™, you will be responsible for leading the game technical animation production. You will work closely with the Animation Team Lead andProgrammer Team Leads to help and support delivering high quality and on-brand animations.  

In this role you will :
  • Closely work with the  Animation Team Lead to help and support delivering high quality and on-brand animations; 
  • Lead a team of technicalanimators, andassist them in developing and maintaining best practices.  
  • Be a mentor for junior members of the team; 
  • Scope and plan future features; 
  • Stay up to date on the latest tools and practices in the industry; 
  • Champion the Technical Animation discipline. 
What we're looking for :
  • 5+ years of relevant experience; 
  • Excellent technical animation and/or animation skills; 
  • Experience managing and leading a team, delegating tasks, and distributing workload; 
  • Ability to adapt to Dead by Daylight’s style and propose ways to elevate it; 
  • Collaborative mindset, to participate in a transparent and learning culture within the team; 
  • Comfort in being a representative for Technical Animation in inter-departmental conversations, being the primary contact for technical animation questions, scoping new features; 
  • Expertise in Maya, Unreal and other graphic tools; 
  • Technical knowledge of animation 
  • Experience in a team oriented, product-focused environment. You enjoy collaboration and appreciate the exchange of ideas and concepts; 
  • Strong written and spoken skills;
