- Act as a bridge between tools developers and gameplay developers to tune and enhance a novel procedural map generation system;
- Master the alchemical art of tuning the formula that generates the world;
- Own the development of environmental biomes that present a variety of gameplay and traversal challenges to players on foot and driving vehicles;
- Build environmental scenes and points of interest in conjunction with the art team and gameplay designers;
- Participate in regular playtest and feedback sessions.
What we're looking for :
- 4+ years of professional industry experience in world design including at least one shipped title;
- Deep understanding of level design theory and best practices;
- Experience with Unreal Editor;
- Experience working on third-person action games or vehicle-driving games with rough terrain;
- A love of tackling complex problems or a naturally inquisitive nature;
- Enthusiasm for collaborative, cross-discipline work in a warm and friendly environment.
