The Role
As the Director of Consumer and Market Research, you will set the vision and strategy for the market and consumer research team. This role involves building the team from the ground up and developing the infrastructure and capabilities to deliver high quality results.
Behaviour is striving to develop unique multiplayer games that offer memorable moments and the highest possible replay value, placing marketing at the heart of its success. The market and consumer research team will be part of the Player Insights group, which includes the data engineering, data science, analytics, and user research teams. The market and consumer research team will also collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and other key stakeholders.
The mandate is to offer in-house research, manage external partners, and deliver strong results based on advanced methodologies to provide actionable insights and foresight to the senior leadership team. 
In this role you will :
  • Lead, build, and manage our internal market and consumer research capability and initiatives;
  • Manage research priorities, projects, resources, and budgets;
  • Champion and drive best practices in terms of research methodologies and deliverables;
  • Supervise, grow, and coach your team to evolve and achieve its goals;
  • Build a healthy and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners;
  • Work with the other Player Insights teams to fulfil the potential of each collaboration;
  • Influence how the leadership team and other key stakeholders approach and use research to make product-impacting decisions.
What we're looking for :
  • Proven experience managing research teams with multiple direct reports;
  • Strong understanding of the current game/entertainment industry and research trends;
  • Solid understanding of market and consumer research and of live game KPIs;
  • Ability to develop and support short- and long-term strategies;
  • Someone who truly believes in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for his/her team and colleagues;
  • Clear vision on providing outcomes over output;
  • Natural ability to collaborate with multiple partners;
  • Ability to manage projects with discipline and eagerness.
