The Role
Behaviour is looking to add a new member to the leadership of the Digital division to oversee projects developed with external partners. The main goal of the Head of External Production is to develop games externally that meet Behaviour’s quality standards.
Expertise is needed to establish new processes to ensure games are released on time, budget, and quality. This role asks for a close collaboration with the Head of Partnership to establish long lasting partnerships with other developer companies.
The ideal candidate is proactive, have experience as an External Producer in the gaming industry and like to work in a growing and dynamic environment.
In this role you will :
  • Own the development process for all external production done within Digital
  • Work with each external project to establish plans and best practice that will ensure that products will ship on time and on budget while keeping a high-quality standard.
  • Manage the relationship with the external developer regarding the development of the game along side the Head of Partnership
  • Work closely with the leaders of each project, the leaders of Digital as well as key stakeholders (CEO, CFO, CMO & more) to set strategy as well as yearly P&L objectives 
  • Work closely with the Dev teams and the Digital leadership group to identify what games to build / continue to support / kill
  • Working with the Head of Partnership and Head of Production, you will establish milestone schedule and acceptance criteria
  • Will lead the approval process of milestone
  • Will work with the internal teams (Marketing, Product, Player Experience) to publish the products.
  • Accompany / coach the internal teams to pass internal product gates.
  • Additional responsibilities include liaising with organizational leadership across the studio (Finance, HR, Corporate communication, stakeholders from the Work-for-hire studio & more) 
What we're looking for :
  • 8-10 years of experience in game development
  • 5 years of experience as Producer
  • 3-5 years of experience working as an external producer at a Publisher
  • Excellent knowledge of game development best practices, software and tools
  • Experience with mobile, PC and console game development
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Good understanding of P&L and Budgets
  • Good understanding of KPIs
  • Team builder
