The Role
Since several work modes are offered to all our employees (100% from home, Flex, 100% in-office), job opportunities posted here are available whether you live in Quebec or Ontario, unless indicated otherwise.

We are looking for a graphics programmer to join the Meet Your Maker graphics team. Meet Your Maker is a PC and console game as a service (GaaS). The graphics team is part of a larger production that includes other programming teams, game design, art, animation, and other disciplines. The team works on a wide variety of rendering features and game optimizations.
In this role you will :
  • Deliver rendering features and systems in Meet Your Maker. You will code rendering engine features as well as rendering pipeline tools. Features are varied, such as shaders, lighting, post-processing, and special effects;
  • Optimize graphics performance and fix performance issues. You will profile and analyze code. You will propose and implement solutions to performance bottlenecks by using techniques like, LODs, culling, and batching;
  • Fix bugs related to your area of work. MYM is a live game as a service where features get added and others improved continuously. With the features come the bugs as well as other issues. Bugs come in all shapes, forms, and priorities, from a simple fix, to a very hard to reproduce critical issue;
  • Make sure both features and bugs are delivered on supported platforms. Meet Your Maker is supported on  PC, XBOX Series X, XBOX One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. You will need to make sure that your code, and the game, are fully working on all platforms;
  • Work with programmers on other teams, as well as developers in other disciplines. Most rendering features involve other teams like artists, technical artists, and system programmers. Delivering features means working closely and collaborating with members of other teams.
What we're looking for :
  • This is an intermediate role. You need to have at least 3 years of experience in the gaming industry with a focus on graphics programming.
  • You need to have a strong understanding of 3D graphics principles, including shading, lighting, texturing, and rendering techniques. You need to have good knowledge of modern graphics APIs like DirectX and Vulkan;
  • You need to know C++ very well;
  • You need to be solution-oriented and possess a collaborative spirit;
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 is a plus.
