Tetris, Developed by Behaviour for EA, is the Top-Selling PSN Game of 2011

Behaviour Chile, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Behaviour Interactive – one of the largest independent game developers in the world, is proud to announce that Tetris is the best-selling PlayStation Network game of 2011.

Tetris on PSN can be played online by up to six players in various modes such as Shared and Team battle, and can be played locally by up to four players in Challenge, Variations and Marathon modes. Not only does it have all the features you’d expect from a Tetris game, it also has high-definition and surround sound features, making it the definitive Tetris experience.

“We were honoured to work with EA on Tetris for PSN, and we are extremely happy that Tetris was the top-selling PSN game of 2011. The project was a labour of love for our team, and it shows you that after nearly 30 years, Tetris is just as fun and addictive as ever and players can’t get enough of it,” says Luis Romero, game producer, Behaviour Chile.

The games developed by Behaviour Interactive’s Chilean studio have been duly recognized around the world. For instance, Doritos Crash Course is one of Microsoft’s most downloaded games on XBLA, Wipeout is the highest-selling Kinect game of summer 2011, and Assault Heroes has been voted Game of the Year by IGN.com in 2006. The studio is without a doubt a world-class developer for XBLA and PSN games, as evidenced by these great projects.

Tetris is published by EA. For more information: http://www.ea.com/news/ea-brings-the-definitive-tetris-experience-to-ps3
